Canada Day, formerly Dominion Day is Canada's national day, a federal statutory holiday celebrating the anniversary of the July 1, 1867, enactment of the British North America Act (today called the Constitution Act, 1867), which united two British colonies and a province of the British Empire into a single country, still within the Empire, called Canada.[1][2][3] Canada Day observances take place throughout Canada as well as internationally.
There, a little synopsis for those who do not know what it is. Almost the same as the 4th of July. We have fireworks and BBQ's, local activities for families, pancake breakfasts, etc. We decided to take the long weekend and go camping. So off we go to Jasper National Park It was so beautiful there! We stayed in the Natl Park for 2 days and 2 nights then went to Mt Robson Provincial Park across the border in BC and camped there for our last night. I have posted several pictures so I hope you enjoy them all.
