Long weekend!

Despite battling a cold this past weekend I still managed to have a good time. We went to Elk Island National Park for the day. We had fun seeing the beavers swimming to their lodges and the remnants of the trees they chipped down. We took a few pieces of wood chippings left over because their bite marks were so neat! On our way out we saw a buffalo on the side of the road. I have never seen one in real life. They are HUGE! The park is a kind of bison refuge. It also has pelicans! It was a great time! When we did one of the trails Amber kept asking if we were lost! Haha!
